Facebook-SaveStats Account Connecting
If your SaveStats installation has been bridged(integrated) with Facebook, and you want to use Facebook features that SaveStats offers you must connect your two accounts.
This is easily done by following this steps here:
When you open your profile edit page in SaveStats you will find this message:
"SaveStats is integrated into Facebook, and if you have an account there you can see and add the application here."
By following the link to the Facebook App you will be greeted with a message telling you that you didn't connect your accounts.
If SaveStats finds the name from your Facebook profile in it's player names it will ask you if this is you. If not it will provide you with a list of all players - you must choose with which SaveStats player to connect your Facebook profile.
After you click the button it will tell you that the connection-proposal has been sent, and you must go back to your SaveStats profile.
There you will find your connection-proposal pending for approval. Allow it and you will connect your accounts.
After that you will find acknowledging message at the bottom of your SaveStats profile editing page, that you are connected and a button to disconnect it if you want to.
Now you can go back to the Facebook App and you will find it fully operational.
In the Home page there you will find a link to allow SaveStats to publish news feeds with your Played Matches. If you allow it, you will find a preference there whether to allow all matches to be posted or only the ones in which you win ;-)
If you want to add the profile box you must visit the Personal Total Stats tab and there you will find the link to add it.
There is one little catch here. If you are the SaveStats Admin, and you want your users to be allowed to publish news on their walls, you must submit your Application for verification. It is doable trough the Facebook Developer Application, on the "my applications" page, but you must have at least 5 Facebook users who have added it. When you do this - your news posts should be visible without problem. If you don't have 5 users but still want to see and test the news feature - you must add every one of your users in the App Developers list. You can do this in your App Settings page, on the "Basic" tab, there is "Developers" field in the "Basic Information" set.
This are Facebook restrictions.
That's it.
