  • Q: What is SaveStats?
  • A: It's a game score-keeping system. Also you can say that it is Match tracking/logging system. It is used to track scores and statistics in various games. It's web based software.
  • Q: Where it can be used?
  • A: It's useful if you are part of (small) gamer or sports community and you want to track scores and matches.
    You can use it in any kind of organisation too: your work company, your school, your university, your sport club etc.
  • Q: What kind of games it supports?
  • A: Computer games, Video games, Real-Life games, Sport games - you name it.
    It can be used for all kind of match games : multiplayer games with single winner.
    Which means if in the game there are 5 players, only 1 wins and you don't have "second" / "third" place etc.
    SaveStats is "abstract" system. It uses user input to track the matches. So you can add "Soccer" title and say "Team A" beats "Team B" with "3:1".
    Or you can add "Starcraft" title and say "John" beats "Tim" with "1:0".
    It does not parse log files (for now).
  • Q: Is there limit for the game-titles?
  • A: No. It's totally up to you.
  • Q: What kind of statistics it tracks?
  • A: Match(game) related, Title related, Player related, Teams related.
    For example the Player related stats are: Won matches, Lost matches, Played matches, Win/Lose Ratio.
    Depending on your organisation structure it can also track stats for it's segments.
    Like if the organisation is "company" you can track "department" stats: "Sales vs Production" :)
  • Q: Does it support ELO ratings?
  • A: No. But it's a feature that should be added in the next versions.
  • Q: Does it support teams?
  • A: Yes, you can have teams made of the players in the system. Though the teams are not predefined, but such feature will be added later.
  • Q: What I need to install and use it?
  • A: The system is web-based so you need simple hosting which supports PHP and MySQL.
  • Q: What is that Facebook feature you are talking about?
  • A: You can integrate your SaveStats installation with facebook! This enables news posting(when a player played a match it is posted on his Facebook Wall and Friends Feeds) and Facebook profile box with personal stats from the system. More about how exactly to do this you can find here.

  • A: Yes, Completely! It is distributed trough GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE

  • A: SaveStats has been tested successfully on all modern browsers, including:
